At Blondie Mania, the making of our leather bags all begins with design. And where do we get this inspiration? It all starts in nature, particularly the countryside. We feel deep inspiration from those warm, earthy tones and textures.

The Leather

Minimalist style paired with decadent materials that feel good to the touch are our essentials. We use these to help you express individuality while loving those hand-picked, buttery-feeling soft cow leathers.

While we keep some in natural leather shades, our colourful options are dyed with water-based dyes that have no added pigments. This allows for those natural characteristics of the leather to be seen rather than masked. Some brands choose to hide these away, but we feel the true beauty of leather is in its little imperfections, which makes every handmade leather bag we create unique.

The Seasons

Some of the leather bags you’ll find here on Blondie Mania can fit certain seasons, especially with fun bold colours that we trot out seasonally. However, others from our staple collection will transcend to work at any time of the year. That’s certainly the case for our iconic Petrolina Bag. It was one of the first designs we ever made and still remains a bestseller to this day.

This smashing hobo-style bag is crafted from that soft cowhide leather and contrasted inside with a cheery bright pink suede fabric. The exterior boasts external pockets that add stylish accents too, though more pockets can be found in the interior of the bag. Choose it in classic black, mocha brown, or chocolate brown leathers.

Blondie Mania bags are designed in London. They are cut, stitched, and assembled by a small team of skilled artisans that treasure the craft of working with leather. As such, our bags are not produced for the fashion faddy, but rather, they are made to be wardrobe staples that you’ll treasure for years to come.

We produce them in small batches so that every single bag is made with absolute care and precision. You can see it in the finished product with our signature hand-stitched detailing. This is a process that we channel for slow crafting in order to bring these leather pieces to life. Because here, we know these leather bags become a part of you.
